Terminals at Amsterdam Schiphol

Know where to start. Know what to follow.

YOUR AIRPORT, EXPLAINED

One terminal complex. Different halls and gate areas.

Schiphol follows a one-terminal concept. A departure hall, a lounge and a gate are different places within the airport.

Find your check-in desk on the Schiphol website, app or screens in the departure halls.

Schiphol Plaza is public. Lounges and gates are in the area after security.

Departure hall

Start here for your airline’s check-in or baggage drop. Use your flight information to find the correct desk.

Lounge / pier / gate

After security, follow the gate shown for your flight. Lounge numbers are not departure hall assignments.

Schiphol Plaza

The public area connects airport services and onward transport, including the train station, buses and taxis.

What are you here to do?

Flying out

Find your flight number and date. Confirm the terminal or departure hall and check-in desk at the official source, then check the gate on airport screens.

Find your flight

Connecting

Confirm the next flight’s gate and follow transfer signs. Whether you need security, passport control or baggage collection depends on your itinerary and airline.

Check your connection

Meeting someone

Check the arrival information and agree on a public meeting point. A landed flight does not mean the passenger has finished passport control or baggage collection.
