Your route depends on the terminal, gate area, bags and boarding pass, and whether the flights are Schengen or non-Schengen. Non-Schengen arrivals at T2C go through passport control and Exit before returning through security. Changing between T1 and T2 means entering Spain’s public area and taking the shuttle. If you collect bags or check in again, you must pass departure security again.
