Keep three decisions separate
Confirm with your airline whether you can remain in transit, whether baggage is checked through and how to reach your onward terminal. If you need to enter Singapore, check the entry requirements separately.

Confirm checked baggage and itinerary
Ask the airline whether baggage is checked through and whether the onward booking is handled as a connection. Do not assume two independent tickets receive the same airside route.

Check the conditions for your actual journey.
Separate tickets, baggage collection and a move to T4 can change your route. Confirm these arrangements with your airline; no connection time is guaranteed here.
