Thailand changed its visa-exemption scheme on 15 September 2026. Check the current official nationality/passport list and the Thai embassy responsible for your residence; do not rely on an old 60-day or airport VOA list. TDAC is separate from a visa or permission to enter.

Most non-Thai arrivals who pass immigration must submit the free official TDAC within 3 days including the arrival date. Children also need one; eligible crew are excepted. Airside transit without passing immigration does not need TDAC. Confirm the current form for your actual itinerary.
Your airport route
Separate tickets: first confirm whether bags are checked through. If you must collect them, check Thai entry permission and TDAC, clear immigration and customs, then check in and clear security for the next flight. For DMK, add road travel to a separate airport. No universal safe connection time is promised.
